The best solution for noise problems on desktop and notebook computers
The dbug is a passive stereo unit designed to eliminate hums, buzzes
and "digital noise" in a DAW's audio path. It is handmade in
a small and robust aluminium enclosure, using only the highest quality
components. The dbug design combines the best of both vintage and modern
electronics to make it reliable and flexible, whilst delivering pristine
sound quality. In fact, many of our customers have commented that not
only does the dbug resolve all noise problems, but improves the overall
sound of their system!
It works on the principle of removing the common grounding between an
audio interface and the computer's power supply, ensuring that any rogue
noise picked up off the power supply is not transferred into the audio
signal. The dbug has many other uses where ground isolation is required,
plus serves as a unbalanced to balanced convertor if required.
